The Design

Part Gold American Eagle is a true masterpiece. The front of the room, or obverse, has a high record of Augustus Saint-Gaudens face full of Art Nouveau, with long hair flowing freely. In his right hand, Liberty carries a torch in his left hand an olive branch. The design featured on the back of the room, or vice versa, was created by sculptor Miley Busiek. Here, a male eagle can be seen bearing an olive branch and flying above a female eagle and her babies in their nest.

Each piece is different

One (1) ounce coin has a face value of fifty dollars. It measures 1.287 inches in diameter, contains one troy ounce of gold and has a weight of 1.0909 ounces troy.

Half (½) oz coin has a value of twenty five dollars side. It measures 1.063 inches in diameter, contained ounces 0.5000troy gold and has a weight of 0.5455 ounces troy.

One quarter (¼) oz coin has a face value of ten dollars. It measures 0.866 inches in diameter, contains 0.2500 ounces troy golden and has a weight of 0.2727 ounces troy.

One tenth (1/10th) oz coin has a face value of five dollars. It measures 0.650 inches in diameter, contains 0.1000 ounces troy of gold and has a weight of 0.1091 ounces troy

Why buy a proof
