Being in college can be a very distracting time of your life. The last thing you want to be doing is sitting in class when your frat is out pledging some new freshmen. But it's not all fun and games when you're in college, you must maintain a good GPA, especially if you're in a fraternity. Maintaining that high GPA is not as difficult as most of you think it is. There are a couple easy steps that you can follow in order to ensure that you maintain your grades and keep them up to get a good job or gain admissions to the grad school of your choice.
Step 1: Review After Class
This may seem like an annoying thing to have to do, but reviewing the material when you get out of class can actually save you time. This is because when you go over all the material that you just learned, in the same day you learn it, you will imprint that material into your brain and allow for much easier access to it in the future. This means that you will be able to recall the material instantly on the test, and get a good grade in the class. For those of you who are already dedicated students, this simple habit can mean the difference between an A or a B in the class, so review a little every day, and save yourself the trouble.
Step 2: Do All Assigned Or Recommended Work
Even if you don't have to do the assignments, does not mean that they are not important. Doing the assignments will make the material second nature to you, and thus you won't have to stay up all night the evening before the exam trying to cram all that information into your head. If you do all the recommended work your school work and testing will come much easier to you. (Note: This is what all those know-it-all nerds do that seem to have an answer for everything).
It's really that easy. Just stay on top of everything, don't get behind and review a little bit every day and school will come easy to you. These are habits you need to form and once you form them, it will be even easier to succeed.
