But to ordinary people what is a Morgan Silver Dollar? Why is it considered a treasure? A Morgan Silver Dollar is a coin made up of silver which is almost same size as a palm. Since it is made up of pure silver it is heavier than most ordinary coins are. It has the head of liberty at the front and an eagle at the back. It was being engraved by George T. Morgan thus it was given its name in memory of its maker; though a lot of names were branded to this coin due to its appearance.
As per historical records, these coins appeared in the year 1895. They were made of pure silver, due to an over flowing silver from Comstock Lode in Nevada. Because of an enormous supply of silver the economy was threatened to die since there are no silver outlet in the market. In order to save the economy the government has to do something to save it.
The government bought silver loads from the Comstock Lode in Nevada making it into coins for circulation, thus, these special coins ame into existence. There were only 12,000 of them circulating that time. As time passed by, only 70 - 80 coins were accounted. According to history, majority of the coins just disappeared out of the blue.
Due to the scarcity of Morgan Silver Dollar in the late 1890, people began to notice it. Until the death of Lavere Redfield when authorities found 40,000 pieces of this coin under his basement, coin collections became popular. People's interest in coin collection was inspired by the book of Leroy Van Allen and George Mallis The book exposed the beauty of the different Morgan Silver Dollar series, thus having people take a second look at their coin giving value to it and eventually making them collect not just the Morgan Silver Dollar but any other coins as well.

Canadian 1 Dollar Coin $92.4 The Canadian 1 dollar coin is a goldcoloured, bronzeplated, onedollar coin introduced in 1987. It bears images of a common loon, a wellknown Canadian bird, on the reverse, and of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. The design for the coin was meant to be a voyageur theme, similar to the countrys previous one dollar/silver dollar coin, but the master dies were lost by the courier service while in transit to the Royal Canadian Mint in Winnipeg. Newspapers often discuss the rate at which the loonie is trading against the United States greenback. The nickname loonie became so widely recognized that on March 15, 2006 the Royal Canadian Mint secured the rights to the name Loonie. The coinan 11sided curve of constant widthis made of Aureate, a bronzeelectroplated nickel combination. In order to maintain a constant width of 26.5 mm the sides of the coin are not exactly straight, but curved in the same manner as the 7sided British twenty pence and fifty pence coins.
