Contrary to what you assume, the actual weight lifting part is the least important factor for gaining muscle. Nutrition and rest by far outweigh on routine you do, and without these two factors in the balance, you will not find anywhere.
You should rest at least one day between workouts. About two or three more days people, but their workouts are very demanding and they need extra time for their muscles to heal. When you lift weights your limit you create micro tears in your muscles is what causes them to heal back stronger and stronger. We must let them heal completely, and give them all the protein and nutrients they need to grow. Get at least 8-9 hours of sleep each night, and only 30 minutes max your cardio workout days not. If you're muscles are sore, but it is time to develop and make the different muscle groups and try to avoid areas that are not fully healed. If you are struggling everywhere you need more rest and food, just do some cardio light if you really want to lose fat.
Always drink a lot of water, not only your muscles need it, but your joints do too. They will be tested when lifting weights, if you need to stay hydrated. Drink 1 liter of water per day. There is not much to say, you have to. Drink water with meals, between meals, while peeing at all times.
You should eat 5 meals a day, even, to begin as soon as you wake up and right before bed. You need protein in each meal and the amount depends on how much you weigh. You should eat one gram of protein per kilogram of body weight per day. Divide by 5 and that is how you will need during each meal. Do much Baked lean turkey or chicken, and keep it in hand to heat later with your snack. Oats, fruits, nuts, meat, beans, try everything you think looks good. And then try a few things you might not like.
With regard to lifting weights all you need to do to keep seeing results is to change your routine every 4-6 weeks. Doing different exercises to hit your muscles from different angles and you break any platform. Good luck and continue pumping iron.
