Black Button Spider
Also known as "Widow Spiders" in the United States, spiders are common to Button throughout South Africa and Madagascar. Their long legs, abdomen and black light bulb red marks make them easily recognizable, with bands shaped funnel, they are in their homes, and their big white egg-sac. Unlike many spiders living in the wild, the spider Button prefers a small business man living in populated areas and offshore structures for their warmth and dryness. You might find a Black Spider Button benefiting from an attic or two in South Africa! Although the species is timid, it is toxic - interestingly, women no longer the strength to bite through human skin and deliver the toxin.
Six-Eyed Sand Spider
Unlike Button to the spider, the spider has eyes Sand Six-remote, uninhabited desert areas of South Africa. Sometimes referred to as "Spider crab" to scuttle their movements, they have squat bodies with red-brown and covered with hairs, called setae, which help retain moisture - Invaluable in the desert climate. With very effective camouflage and burrowing skills, they are rare to observe. This could be a good thing - Researchers believe that the Six-eye spider Sand to be one of the deadliest spiders in the world based on power and volume of their venom. Fortunately, the victims are due to some distance from their habitats, and the timidity of the spider.
Violin Spider
Found throughout South Africa, Swaziland and Namibia, violin spiders get their name from the distinctive dark violin-shaped marking on their abdomen. With long slender legs and a golden brown, the violin spider can do its home in any of a number different places such as under floor or in cabinets rarely used in home of man, under bark or stones, or rotten wood in the desert. Most encounters with spiders Violin occur at night while they are hunting, and although their venom is not as other deadly spiders in South Africa, their venom is painful and can cause inflamed wounds.
Baboon Spider
Baboon spiders, more commonly known outside of South Africa as a tarantulas are a diverse group, and sometimes popular as pets exotic pet! Large, heavy body, and hairy, their colors range from golden brown to black. As baboon spider favors arid conditions, they are rarely found near human habitation. It is distinguished from other spiders in that it is a hunter of "trap", using a funnel-shaped silk-lined burrow where it can remain on the lookout for prey. Although spider bites are Baboon very painful, they are extremely rare, and despite their menacing appearance, not fatal to humans.
