With regard to Numismatics: Coin year with ease!
coin collection is not just about having so many pieces as possible. More important than the number of parts is the quality of these parts. This quality is measured by class grade parts and is measured using a scale from zero to seventy (seventy being the highest grade point). Doctor William Shelby introduced this scale point in his book "Penny Fancy".
Following are the parts according to rank.
1. "Mint State" Coins
This is equivalent to a value of 60 to 70 in wide degree of Shelby. This means that the room has no defects whatsoever. Most of the pieces in this category are uncirculated, shiny, new coins, with absolutely no signs of wear.
2. "Almost Uncirculated" Coins
The "Almost Uncirculated" rooms have a point of Grade 50, 55 or 58.
It is very important to note that in these parts, collectors should know the locations of points strong in a coin. By checking the difference of light reflected in the high points for other parts of the room, "quasi-Coin" part is separated from the currency of the Mint.
3. "Beautiful rooms"
These can also be classified as "extremely fine "(40, 45)," very fine "(20, 25, 30 and 35) or" Fine "(12) depending on the sharpness of details on the remaining pieces. The pieces are seen with clothing, but the designs are still intact.
For "extremely fine" coins, brightness Mint is still present.
"Very good" coins can be compared to parts that were used for 1-3 years. minor characteristics of the pieces are already gone.
4. "Good Corners"
These parts can be specifically defined as "very good" (12), "good" and "Almost Good" coins.
The coins in this category worn. Only weak designs can be seen from the details of the coins in the high points are nearly smooth.
Detailed rims must be observed for the "Very Good category coins.
In the case of "good" coins mark Workshop and the date must be visible.
On the other hand, "almost good" parts are the most likely coin in this category.
5. "Corners Fair
The pieces are "worn out" but can still be distinguished as belonging to one types of coins - as long as one can identify a coin, it is a "Fair C".
6. "Basal area"
These metals can be determined to be parts - but the kind of coin are undeterminable.
With the classifications described, it will be very easy quality parts. Remember that knowledge of the qualities of the parts "we collectors benefits!
